The initial keyword list was developed based on industry knowledge, common lighting system types, competitor website analysis, online search behaviour, Google pre-search suggestions, and supplementary research using ChatGPT to identify relevant and high-intent search terms.

I then done a SERP overview using www.mongols.com just for comparison and noticed the two websites I reviewed as reference websites showed up under these keywords; www.willieduggan.com and www.wink.ie which suggested to me I was using a good choice of words.

The key search volume of 70 was good considering a lot of design work is through recommendations or relationships built up over the years, it is a niche service and cannot be compared to searches for such things like consumables. The keyword also covers the entire country having Ireland in the search word and it would have been the keyword I felt was strongest before using an SEO relevance site. It also has an easy SEO rating with regards to difficulty and I think it fits exactly with what I am offering.
Outdoor Lighting
Excellent search volume (2900), manageable SEO difficulty (29), people searching this term are open to garden lighting, sports lighting, carpark lighting, architectural lighting, Christmas lighting, waterproof lighting, park lighting and lighting with controls and much more.
